The sad fact is that we're being controlled more and more by regulations for everything from lead content in ATV parts (regulated because someone was afraid our kids would get lead poisoning from eating the lead parts of an ATV) to using junk science as a basis to close offroading areas because of made-up threats to a weed.
Make sure you know the legal requirements to riding your ATV on public land. That includes not just where you can ride, but registration info too.
