Will ATV and Offroading Enthusiasts See a New Green Technology in Compressed Air Based Propulsion?

It's hard to balance my love for motorsports and my passion for nature and the environment, so when I see innovations that could help reduce the impact on the environment we have when we recreate I try to help promote it.

Electrically powered ATVs aren't the only game in town when it comes to alternative fuel vehicles. There's a French company called Motor Development International (MDI) that designed a compressed air powered car called the AIRPod that could realistically see its way into the offroad market as an alternative fuel OHV.

The compressed air powered motor is obvoiusly going to require power to compress the air, but that power could be realized from a solar, wind or other eco-friendly method. But it could still be another step forward in our attempt to lessen our impact on the environment when we ride.
