Arapeen ATV Trail System
The Arapeen OHV Trail System is located in south central Utah in the Manti-La Sal National Forest. Over 350 miles of ATV and 4X4 routes are included in the system.
Beaver Creek Trail
This ATV trail in the Uintah Mountains follows the creek.
Bullion Conyon
This trail offers ATV enthusiasts not only a ride through beautiful stands of aspen and pines, but also a historical drive through the Old Bullion City.
Burnt Hill Road
Most of the trail is well groomed and mostly shadowed by over growth. There are a few spots where the grade is a little steep, but nothing a low gear can't handle, headed up or down.
Canyon of Gold ATV RidingTour
West of Marysvale Utah, the mouth of Utah's "Canyon of Gold" stretches before you. Follow this turn-by-turn off road tour of the area on an ATV.
Canyon Rims Recreation Area
An immense, diverse region located between the southeastern Utah towns of Monticello and Moab. Most of Canyon Rims Recreation Area is primitive and undeveloped.
Casto Canyon Trail
This trail takes you into a wonderful world of red hoodoos, sandstone cliffs of white, pink and even green colors.
Colorado Riverway Recreation Area
Trailheads for several 4WD trails are located within the Riverway. These trails provide access to Poison Spider Mesa, Long Canyon, and Pritchett Canyon. Here is brief info about the Potash Trail, Onion Creek Road, and Kane Creek Canyon Road.
Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park
This is a wonderful place for riding off-highway vehicles, taking photographs or just playing in the sand.
Escalante Area
Information about riding in the Nephi Pasture Area and Brigham Plains Road along the Great Western Trail.

Five Mile Pass
This area has several gullies and mines that are virtually invisible until you are on top of them. This area is also popular for motorcyclists and mountain bikers too.
Fremont Trail
ATV riders can travel over 50 miles between Tropic Reservoir on the Paunsaugunt Plateau and Circleville on the Fremont ATV Trail.
Golden Spike
This trail is a continuation of the Poison Spider Mesa, though it becomes more challenging.
Great Western Trail/Kanab/Big Water
The Great Western Trail (GWT) is a corridor of multiple-use trails that traverse north to south from Canada to Mexico. Recreation opportunities on the GWT may include four-wheel driving, ATV travel, hiking, horseback riding, snowmobiling, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing.

Hougaard Fork ATV Trail
The Hougaard Fork trail is another leg of the Arapeen OHV trail network. It is located approximately 10 miles up Manti Canyon.
Kamas Ranger District
Places to ride your ATV include Murdock Basin, Soapstone Basin, and Upper Setting/Norway Flats.
Knolls OHV Area
Nearly 36,000 acres of sand dunes, hills, and mud flats located in the Great Salt Lake Desert make a perfect OHV play area.
Little Sahara
The Little Sarah Recreation area one of a few in Utah that is totally devoted to the OHV recreational sport.
Little Sahara Recreation Area
Also known as Jericho Sand Dunes, Little Sahara is one of the largest dunes fields found in Utah.
Mineral Basin Trail #194
The first part of the trail requires you to drive through a stream. The first mile of this trail is very rough with large boulders and very deep ruts.
Mineral Basin Trail #295
The upper part of this trail is not recommended for beginners due to the steepness of the trail. The lower part can be enjoyed by everyone, as it is fairly flat.
Mineral Fork/Big Cottonwood Canyon
This is the only ATV trail presently open along the Wasatch front.

The Mineral Fork Trail is the last ATV trail up Big Cottonwood Canyon.
Moab Area Motorized Trails
There are thousands of miles of 4WD routes in Grand and San Juan counties. These routes provide recreational opportunities for Jeepers, ATVers and dirt bikers. While there are no trails specifically designed for ATVs or dirt bikes, many of the old jeep routes make very challenging and enjoyable outings.
Monte Cristo Trail
The road system in the Monte Cristo area is open for riding during most of the year. Be aware of seasonal closures on some of the roads during wet periods.

Paiute Trail
Located in Marysvale, Utah, here's an excellent introduction about the trail, a great map, and a section-by-section description of each of the trails main parts.
Patton ATV Trail
Located up Manti Canyon, parts of this trail can be challenging.
Paunsaugunt Trail
Views of the Pink Cliffs, Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, and the Kaibab Plateau in northern Arizona greet riders of the Paunsaugunt ATV Trail.
Poison Creek Trail
The Poison Creek OHV Route is located in the Escalante District of the Dixie National Forest just southeast of Antimony on the John’s Valley Road.
Poison Spider Mesa
A popular ride in the Moab area, due to its slickrock, sand, and challenging areas.
Reservation Ridge
Reservation ridge runs along the south-western edge of the Ashley National Forest and is the border between the Ashley and Uinta National Forests.
Rose Garden Hill
Though the hill is what you'll remember from this trip, there are also plenty of great views around.
San Rafael Swell
There are 2,000 square miles of public land. This area is known for its scenic sandstone formations, deep canyons, desert streams, and expansive panoramas. Aside from Interstate 1-70, only old uranium mines, dirt roads, livestock improvements, and simple recreation facilities are evident.
Sand Flats Recreation Area
All-terrain vehicles are permitted on all of the Jeep trails at SFRA including: Fins and Things Jeep Trail, Hells Revenge Trail, and the first 11.2 miles of the Porcupine Rim Trail.
Sand Mountain
Located between the towns of Hurricane and Washington, Utah, Sand Mountain provides opportunities for unstructured OHV recreation on dune areas. It also provides a scenic setting for challenging competitive events such as the Rhino Rally (OHV) and endurance rides (horseback) within Warner Valley.
Sand Pit Near Stockton
This is a fun place to go for a couple of hours, but doesn't have hard core jumps or anything like that.
Skyline Trail
The Skyline Trail is one of the most heavily used trails in the Ogden area. The northern portion is very popular among hikers, mountain bikers, equestrians, and motorcyclists.
Tilda Spring ATV Area
A system of old roads has been open to ATV use and offers interesting riding in the Curtis Creek area.

Wasatch-Cache National Forest
The Wasatch-Cache National Forest has many opportunities for Off-Highway Vehicle Travel. Currently registered off-highway vehicles may only be operated on public lands, roads and trails that are signed or designated open to OHV use.
White Wash Sand Dunes/Moab
The one area that is particularly popular for riding ATVs is White Wash Sand Dunes -- located 48 miles northwest of Moab.
Wolverine Ridge Loop/Lily Lake
Wolverine Ridge is an ATV trail system on the north slope of the Uintah Mountains, near the Bear River. The system offers quick and easy loop rides, plus the brutal and long Wolverine Loop.
Yellowstone ATV Trail
Located in Roosevelt Utah, this ATV Trail is situated among the yellow rock formations at the foot of the Uinta Mountains in the Ashley National Forest.
