Ride Description:
Well, my Blazer is a 4x4 with A/C, no power
locks or windows :(. A transmission cooler and remote oil filter and oil
cooler are installed as well. I installed a Brush guard and light bar, all of
the lights work and the interior controls for them look completely stock,
there is also an air horn installed as well. Every major component
has been rebuilt or replaced front and rear diffs are rebuilt with new
gears to compensate for the larger tires. In the rear a posietraction
carrier. The A-arm bushings are replaced with polyurethane ones as well as the
sway bar bushings. Edelbrock IAS shocks all around as well. The ball
joints, wheel bearings, and all the steering linkages have been replaced, new
polyurethane gas tank as well. The break system is also completely
brand new. The engine and transmission haven't given me any reason to
bother with 'em in the way of repairs, so I haven't. I have a 4" body
lift, and 4" fender flairs new 15x8 wheels with 32"x11 tires, I beefed
up the torshion bars and there is an add a leaf kit in the back. I'm sorry
to say that it has the original 2.8 litre V6, but don't let it fool ya, I
am crazy, and diced to build it up, and it runs beautiful!!!! Right now
it has headers and a true duel exhaust, a new performance Mallory
distributor and MSD super coil, and plug wires. I am working on putting on a new
Edelbrock intake manifold and Performer Cam. I have the TBI and
computer off of an '87 Blazer, but it needs rebuilt so the carb is gonna stay for
awhile. That's about it for now it's my daily driver as well so there
won't be any crazy stuff done to it... being it has to stay street legal.
