Children 13 and younger need direct supervision by an adult 21 years or older while operating an ATV in an Alaska State Park.
ATVs do not need to be titled in Alaska if they are going to be used exclusively on private property.
If used primarily for snow and ice riding they must be registered as a snow machine. By reducing the air pressure in the tires (called "airing down") they can be classified as snow machines.
