How to Fix a Broken Whip on an ATV
A Step by Step Guide Showing You How to Fix a Broken Fiberglass Whip

From Matt Finley, About.com

If you're unlucky enough to roll your ATV like I did, you may find yourself with a broken whip. While this kind of repair isn't required to keep the quad running, it's a great safety feature, and in some states and some parks you have to have them.

Fixing a broking whip isn't too bad once you've done it, or even seen it done. There are a couple of tools you'll need, and some others that will make the job easier. Note that in the process of removing the old whip, I encountered a problem that slightly changed the plan.
