ATVing is perhaps most popular in the Northeast. Here are the most active ATV clubs in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, West Virginia, and Virginia. Adirondack ATV Riders
Out of Harrisville, NY, they aim to promote the sport of ATVing through safety training, public awareness and respect for the environment. They are predominantly a family oriented group that enjoys riding ATVs, with a further goal of promoting user cooperation (such as "shared trails") with other outdoor and environmentally aware people.
Adirondack Dirt Devils
Based out of the Mayfield, NY area, one of their main goals is to get the trail fund re-established and to get a legal trail system in the State of New York.
Allegheny Trail Riders
Out of Warren, Pennsylvania, this group stives to develop riding opportunities and the multiple use of the Allegheny National Forest roads and trails.
Aroostook Valley ATV Club
They're based in Caribou Maine and do a lot of family fun ATVing.
ATV in NJ
A cyber club for those who like to ride in the New Jersey area. They try to get together every Sunday.
ATV Maine
The Alliance of Trail Vehicles of Maine is a statewide alliance of ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle) Clubs.
ATV Ruffriders
Out of North Bangor, NY they are striving to promote the sport of atving in numerous ways. If you want to get involved in your area, this is the place to be.
ATV Traction
Located in northwestern PA, they promote ATV recreation as a wholesome, family oriented, outdoor sport. Some of their goals include the development of a large system of trails, promoting a positive public image of the sport, and providing education on safety and responsible riding practices. They plan dozens of rides each year from West Virginia to Canada.
ATV Virginia
They're located in the Central Virginia area (Brasher Falls). They are dedicated to riding, and having a good time. They have a variety of riders and people in our group, including those who ride quads, and 4x4's and even motorcycles.
Belknap ATV Family Adventures
Out of Belmont, NH, this club is working with Towns, State Agencies, Snowmobile Clubs and private landowners to increase the amount of trails available to ATV's and other OHRV riders in the Belknap County area.
Borderline ATV Club
Out of Caswell, Maine, this club meets every other month.
Cambridge Cruisers ATV Club
Located in Cambridge, Maine, this group does a lot of work to support the sport of ATVing in the local community.
Central Maine Trailblazers
Out of Corinna, Maine, your membership dues to this club help in the maintenance of the trails. They have 2 monthly organized trail rides.
Central PA All-Terrain Vehicle Association
Their purpose is to stimulate and promote the general welfare of ATV's and to develop fraternal spirit among ATVer's and other outdoor enthusiasts.
China Four Seasons Club
Out of South China, ME, this club was founded as the result of a merger between the old China Lake Association and the China Region Snowmobilers in 1970. In 2000 the club became a multi-use sportsmans club by incorporating an ATV riders section to it membership.
CT Trail Users
Their primary objective is to create access to state lands for off-road motorcycle and ATV use.
East Coast Speedballs
They have members from up & down the East Coast who love to ride their ATV's - rain, snow or shine - and most of the time at a pretty good clip. Their main riding turf for regular great adventures is the Shamokin, Pa. and Frackville, Pa. area. They also make trips to major ATV parks located on the East Coast.
East Stream ATV Riders Club
Their membership varies from 75 to 100 members from Cutler and the surrounding towns in Maine to seasonal residents from out of state. Their 33-mile trail system is comprised of State and privately owned land.
Foothills ATV Club
This is a family orientated club committed to preserving the environment, the sport of 4-wheeling along with all outdoor activities. They are based in Hermon, NY with 90+ members from all areas of St. Lawrence County.
Franklin All Terrain Riders
Their #1 goal is to promote safe and legal operation of all terrain vehicles, to acquire easements for trails and to maintain trails in the Owls Head, NY area.
Frederick Riders
Based in Frederick Maryland, they go riding in Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania state parks and some privately owned areas.
Fuddymuckers ATV Club
Headquartered in Jamestown, PA, they believe the pursuit of happiness can best be achieved from the back of a quad!... They were organized due to the need for more riding places in the area.
Granite State ATV Association
They represent all wheeled OHRV clubs in the state and speak for all ATV'ers & Trail Bikers. Their goal is to promote a positive image and create a statewide communications network.
Hollis Freewheelers ATV Club
Located in Southern Maine, their goal is to promote safety, landowner relations, education, adventure and family fun in the sport.
Jersey Devil ATV Riders Association
With members from Morris, Sussex, Warren, Union and Hunterdon counties, this New Jersey club is committed to acquiring and keeping safe and legal places for off-road riding of ATV's.
Jersey Off-road Vehicle Association
Their goal is to alert, inform and educate those who support our cause, so that all can become organized and gain strength in numbers. To direct action to legislatively protect our form of off-road recreation and to expand our right to enjoy the use of public land. And to help prevent attacks that threaten off-road drivers and their use of the lands.
Keystone Off-road Riders
Based in Johnstown, PA. this club serves riders from Cambria, Blair, Somerset, Indiana and Westmoreland Counties.
Lehigh Valley ATV Association
Out of Nazareth, PA, their goal is to promote the fine sport of ATVing through safety training, public awareness, and respect for the environment. They are predominately a family oriented group that enjoys riding ATVs and having fun.
Long Island ORV Association
Out of Miller Place, NY, their purpose is simple: Get legal ridding area's for ATV's and dirt bikes on long Island.
Maryland ATV Club
If you're looking for information and all the ATV action you can handle, you live in Maryland, DC or Virginia, and you plan to do some riding, then you'll enjoy this informal club.
Mason Dixon Riders Association
They aim to ensure a rich riding tradition for future generations, to preserve public lands for public usage, to be a friend to the community and environment, and to educate for safe riding habits. Located in Greene County, Pennsylvania.
Messalonskee Trail Riders ATV Club
Based out of Fairfield Maine, this group is compiled of members that share a major common interest. They all enjoy riding ATV's with family and friends.
Moose Alley Riders
Serving Bingham and Solon Maine, this group meets monthly and goes on a lot of rides in the area.
Mountain View ATV Club
They are located in extreme SW Virginia (Dickenson County), in a small town called Clintwood. They are a "family oriented" club working to open up new trails for ATV use, and to promote tourism in order to generate revenues to aid the local economy.
Narraguagus ATV Club
They are located in beautiful "Downeast Maine" in Cherryfield "the blueberry capital of the world" and have over 75 miles of trails that are connected to the "Sunrise Trail System" which has more than 700 miles of interconnected trails through out Washington and Hancock County.
New England ATV Association
A club of off-highway riders formed to promote and protect the sport of off-highway riding. Mostly riders who enjoy riding and socializing with others.
New England Trail Rider Association
Your connection to off-road riding in New England. Over 2800 riders and their families as well as more than 25 local clubs make up their membership. You will find a club in every state in New England and a few in New York.
New Hampshire ATV Club
A club that meets monthly in Auburn, NH while striving to protect our lands while improving our riding areas.
New York State OHRV Association
The statewide advocacy group focused on issues that affect the trail motorcycling and ATVing community, such as land-use issues and legislation.
New York Trail Riders Association of Southern NY
This club was created in October of 1999 with the goals of offering members places to ride including in state and out of state riding excursions (adventurous rides to Vermont and West Virginia for example), opportunities to make new riding friends, and to have a voice in the legislative process concerning off-road interests.
New York Trail Riders Organization (NYTRO)
The largest and most diverse ATV and dirt bike club in New York State.
North Country ATV Association
Out of Franklin County Vermont,the NCAA meets monthly plus lots of great riding.
Northeast ATV Association
Out of Castleton, NY, all owners of ATVs and Dirt Bikes are welcome. Their main goal is to seek legal riding areas in New York State.

Orleans County Trail Riders Association
Based out of Medina, New York, the goals of the Orleans County Trail Riders are to develop and maintain safe and legal riding areas for ATV usage, to promote a positive image within the community and raise public awareness concerning OHV and ATV issues, and to create family-oriented social activities and encourage member and community participation.
Oxford Hills Trail Blazers
They meet monthly at the Little Red Schoolhouse on Norway Lake and hold regular group rides.
Parishville Area ATV Club
This NY club enjoys group outings or just a few on the ride. They love night rides, camping, picnics, and overnight trips. They do raffles and fund-raisers and hold an annual picnic for members. The trails they ride on are located in the towns of Parishville, Hopkinton, Colton, South Colton, and all are connected by legal town roads.
Pennsylvania ATVing
The first state-wide ATV club for Pennsylvanians.
Pennsylvania OHV Association
They are fighting for the rights of off-highway users. The DCNR officially recognizes PAOHV as the sole/official voice of ATV/trailbike community, and they have representation on the Snowmobile/ATV Advisory Committee (SAAC).
Pennsylvania Trail Riders Association
Out of the Stevens, PA area, they are a family oriented riding club. They have family camping/riding weekends and one-day trail rides at various sites around the state.
Pittsburgh Mudrunners
If you are an ATV rider you are at the right place to find new people to hit the trails with. Every skill level is welcome.
Pocono Mountain ATV Club
It is the mission of the PMATVC to provide a place where folks who enjoy motorized outdoor activities can come together and form a union of like minded individuals who want to further the opportunities for off road recreation. This is primarily a social club.
River Valley Riders
Out of Rumford, Maine, this group is dedicated to preserving Maine's trail systems.
Rivergate Wheelers
They strive to support family recreation, promote safety, improve riding skills, teach machine maintenance and repair, organize club rides and work to develop new riding trails. They also Maintain Trails both Public and Private and Cooperate with the State of New York.
Sandy River Riders
A social club out of Strong, Maine dedicated to promoting fun and safe riding of ATVs.
South Jersey ATV Association
Out of Leesburg, NJ, the aim of this club is to educate the public on the benefits of designated legal riding areas for All Terrain Vehicles and off-road motorcycles, and to promote and protect the interests of All Terrain Vehicle users.
Southern Maine ATV Club
A club that is dedicated to the sport of ATV's. They are located in the Berwick, Lebanon area.
Square Pond ATV Club
Their goals are to provide a safe and accessible trail system for our members to share, to promote open dialog between land owners and atv riders, and to meet the concerns of the environment. Meetings and riding in the Shapliegh, Maine area.
St. Lawrence County ATV Association
Out of Canton, NY this is a group for all ATV enthusiasts, ATV club members and their families, and others to enjoy the activity of riding ATV's while promoting safety, friendship and better relations between themselves and the public and private landowners.
Standish/Gorham ATV Club
Out of Gorham, Maine, they are a group of families and individuals who are interested in the sport of ATVs. Their aim is to encourage people that this can be a family sport.
Sunday Rock ATV Club
This club was established in 2003 with the goal of making it possible for ATV owners and riders to ride the roads of Colton and South Colton, NY safely.
Syracuse Area Trail Riders Association
This is upstate New York's leading motocross and trail riding club. Their member base is primarily from the Central New York area. The club has members as far north as Oswego County and as far south as Tioga County. There are even some out of state members.
Three Rivers Riders
Whether you ride competitively or with friend and family on weekends, you should join the only club promoting off-road riding in the area: Three Rivers Competition Riders. They meet and ride in the western PA area (Harrison City).
Topsham Trail Riders
Out of Topsham, Maine this is an ATV and Snowmobile Club.
Tower City Trail Riders
Out of Lebanon, PA, this is a non-profit organization based dedicated to Motorcycle and ATV recreation. Since April 1998 they have leased thousands of acres of prime riding land in East/Central Pennsylvania near Exit 107 of Interstate 81.
Tri-County ATV Recreation & Rescue Association
They promote the sport of ATVing through safety training, public awareness, and respect for the environment, as well as cooperating with area rescue units to promote outdoor safety. A predominately family oriented group that enjoys riding ATVs and having fun.
Tughill Wheelers
Located in Copenhagen, NY the group meets in Barnes Corners NY on a monthly basis. This ATV club was established in 1984.
Turner Timberland ATV Club
Turner has some of the best ATV trails in the central Maine area. Thanks to the miles of State ownes multi-use trails alongside the beautiful Androscoggin river, they share the trails with hikers, bikers & horseback riders throughout the summer months.
United Riders ATV Club
A group of locals from all over the Eastern Shore, MD/VA/DEL and their goal is to be able to ride safely, have fun, and keep peace with those that allow them to ride on their properties.
Valley ATV Club
Based in Northeastern Pennsylvania, this is a family orientated, fun loving group. As a club, they have a monthly ride (weather permitting) usually on the third Sunday of each month as well as several smaller group breakaway rides periodically.
Vermont ATV Sportsmans Association
They provide members and their families with a sense of camaraderie, cooperation, enlightenment, and excitement. At the same time, they strive to elevate the levels of community involvement and education, safety enhancement, ecological awareness, and the overall advancement of the sport.
West Virginia ATV Association
A group of riders out of the Bluefield-Princeston area dedicated to ATVing in the great state of West Virginia.
West Virginia Trails Coalition
Out of Nitro, West Virginia, they are dedicated to developing local, regional and statewide trails in West Virginia.
Western Maine ATV Riders Club
They are located in Wilton, Maine but their club is open members from all areas.
Western Mass ATV Association
They are a group of responsible ATV and dirt bike riders who appreciate the benefits of an organized group of off road enthusiasts. They maintain and ride state trails in Western Massachusetts and provide many riding/social activities throughout the year.
Winnegance Wheelers
Their base of operation is located in Phippsburg Maine. They pride themselves in promoting good landowner relations and go to extensive lengths to better the trail system in our area of responsibility.
