Ride Description::
Ray's 1978 blazer (drivers seat was removed for some pictures), Runs a mildly built 1965 396 small port big block, backed up by a modified turbo 350. All work, good or bad (inc. paint - drive train - suspension - electronics) was performed by the owner & his son.
Engine has TRW domed pistons - Crane cam, springs, etc. - TRW "silent chain" - Michigan 77 bearings - TRW oil pump that was modified to "hydrostatically balance" - Harland Charpe roller rockers - oversized valves - Hedman headers (anti reversion matched to head ports) - Edelbrock intake (anti reversion matched to head ports) & carb - Accel ignition.
Green lens in the grill is a sweep light similar to "Knight Rider's Kitt" & is fully speed controlled from the dashboard. If you would like more info on this truck, feel free to contact me.
