In 2000, Honda's sport-utility vehicle received a face lift with redesigned front and rear fascias, larger 16-inch wheels and tires (LX 2WD), new alloy wheels (LX 4WD, EX) and a few interior trim changes. The lineup EX-L package was also new in 2000, which featured a more luxurious look inside and out. The '00 Passport was built in Lafayette, Indiana by Isuzu for Honda.
