The 1988 Chevy K-5 Blazer added cubic inches. While the '87 model offered a standard 5.0-liter V8 - the '88 model came with a standard 5.7-liter 350 cubic inch motor. The 6.2-liter diesel was still an option. Chevy also extended their warrany on the Blazer in 1988 to a 6/60 power train and a 6/100 rust and protection package.
