In 1973, GM's line of full size trucks were redesigned and updated. It was from the ground, up starting with full-time 4-wheel drive. Everywhere you looked on the '73 Blazer it was new. Lexan lenses for the taillights, curved side window glass, concealed windshield wipers, a newly styled hardtop and a roll-up tailgate window. Ride improvements were also added by moving the front wheel forward 2-1/2 inches and a stabilizer bar became standard equipment.
