"I live in Chicago and I went 4 - wheeling at a place called The Badlands Off-Road Park in Attica, Indiana yesterday. What a blast!"

Summary
In sum, this is a book you take in stride. Once you get past the boring, albeit necessary, “Safety” and “Getting Ready” chapters and all of the warnings to heed Mother Nature’s wrath, the author’s tone becomes less “preachy” and the book becomes easier to read. There are literally hundreds of little-known secrets and tips for off-road driving that fill the pages of this book. I came to truly appreciate the author for his off-road experience and came to value his expertise.

This is the perfect book for the 4-wheeler who has never been off-road in a 4x4 before. The novice can certainly glean a wealth of tips and commonsense approaches to 4-wheeling. It is my guess, however, that the experienced 4-wheeler will view this book as a humorous aside, with some interesting antidotes and personal stories from a fellow 4-wheeler.
