| Ride Description: With over 154,000 miles showing, this truck is awesome. First thing I did was install a set of Headers, with a low flow cat. Followed by 3" exhaust from the mufflers with 5" tips at 18" long. I then added a lift. Wife did not like the idea of a new tuck, so I spent my savings (fun money) on a lift, giving me a "new looking" truck. I bought a 6" pro-comp lift (II-stage), but wanted more lift without lifting the body. With help from some "great" friends from "bays of thunder", They custom built me a 8" block, with tweaked springs, then cranking up the torsion bars 2". I bought 35" SSR's, and mounted them to 15x10.5 eXtrem Eagle alloys. The interior is another story. The truck rides incredible smooth considering the changes. I plan on adding a roof rack and pre-runner bar next spring to give it the "Baja" look. All my friends are very impressed, except the wife. She now considers me a "red-neck". |
