| Ride Description: I bought it from a government equipment junkyard in 1995. It carries a stock 258cid 6-cylinder in-line engine. I equipped the engine with an Isky 270 degree camshaft, Holley 2 barrel and a Mallory Promaster coil. The transmission is reinforced Dana 300 with T-18 transfer case. Dana 30 in the front and Dana 44 Rear axles with a Lockright. The suspension uses dual shocks at each front and rear. 32" TSL Super Swamper always works well with mud obstacles. I use it mostly for adventure offroad, although BelBon (that's how I named it) have also participates and won several speed offroad competitions. For recovery system I put a Warn 8274 in front and a Ramsey 8,000lbs on the rear. For the electrical system I put dual battery with Optimas to ensure enough supply of electricity during winching at night. It's the best offroad vehicle I ever experienced |
