Ride Description
My truck is a 1985 GMC High Sierra step side pickup. It has a 462ci big block
motor, with 750 afb Edelbrock carb, Edelbrock inlet manifold, accel dist &
lead's.
The trans is a th400 ,with a np 208 t,box, front axle is a GM 10 bolt, fitted with a locker, it has been cut & rotated upward 30 degrees to reduce the drive line angles.
The rear axle is a 14 bolt semi floating with locker also cut & rotated 30 degrees to reduce driveline angles.
The truck has 25" of lift 3" of that is a body lift, the springs were built by Alcan springs.
It rolls on 44" ground hawgs, & Weld Racing rims.
Future plans are to up grade the axles to Rockwells 2/5 ton top loaders.
I use the truck mainly for shows & for charity work raising money for disabled children.
