Ride Description:
This is my second YJ...and my daily driver....my first was a 4.0L and this one is a Rio Grande 4 banger...since I am going to do an engine swap within a year there was no point in me paying a ton more money for a 4.0l...and getting a 4.2 was out of the question especially with the Peugeot transmission..lets just leave it at that... I am waiting for a 4x4 Dodge Ram with a hemi to come into the body shop at my work and hopefully become totaled so I can salvage the engine, tranny, t/c, and electrics...whenever someone is unlucky enough for that to happen hopefully it will be my lucky day
...keep in mind I have only had this jeep for two months and it was a little rusty underneath with a fairly clean body.

My mods to date are:

  • mit dropped draglink
  • dropped pitman arm
  • Rubicon express soa kit w/ brake lines and eye to eye shock adapter
  • rancho shocks
  • custom shock mounts front and back
  • home made trackbar relocator...anyone who has any lift on one of these and does fairly serious offroading knows the best of the bolt-on brackets suck and will not work correctly
  • jks trackbar
  • no rear trackbar
  • greasable 1.5" shackles
  • custom swaybar disconnects
  • 2" add-a-leaf with stock spring packs
  • Tom Woods .125 wall driveshafts front and rear
  • rear shaft is a cv shaft
  • JB conversions slip yoke eliminator
  • 4.88 gears in the locked Dana 35 and 30
  • 35"x15"x15" swamper tsl on 589 eagle alloys 10" wide with "equal" balancer inside
  • the engine has a Poweraid spacer
  • rock it intake tube
  • Dynomax exhaust
  • stage II jet chip
    interior is stock
  • body has no add ons

I want the jeep to look like a stock jeep from the body and interior ...there are way to many jeeps out there weighed down with useless, out of the scope of vehicle use, or just plain ugly bolt-ons out there... I wanted no cutting of the body at all or changing of flares ...the suspension had to WORK.. and 35 to 36 inch is the most you can fit in a uncut wheel well on these...you gotta love when you see a YJ with 38's or bigger and the tire can only move two inches...or the famed half-moon worn out of the flares from the tires rubbing..lol...well that's about it..... full size carrier soon to be mounted and looking for Dana 44's now....any questions email me at onebaddart@yahoo.com *****IT'S A JEEP THING YOU WOULD'NT UNDERSTAND****
