| Ride Description: My Scout was built in September of 1979 (model 1980) and the body is restored in the period 2000 (may)-2003 (may) including the SS II conversion. I bought the Scout in the Netherlands in 1992 for $7000,-. It drives good till 2000. Engine V8 345, 480.000 km (drives again very good) with (4) manual trans. (T-19, this Transmission needs -next year- an restoration...) The SS II conversion was from Super Scout Specialists (SSS) and fits good. (SSS sends the stuff to the Netherlands and I paid with E-mail). I'm Scout-fan since I saw the first time(1972) the Scout II. I waited till 1992, then there was a Scout I could buy! The Scout was imported to the Netherlands by EBAG-Trucks (in the town Ede) in the Years 1979 till 1981(rest IHC-party...). |
