Professional race truck driver Terry Cook for Power Stroke® Diesel Racing recommends following the line of a curve (pictured) to maintain vehicle control while acquiring speed coming out of a turn. Ease into the curve at the “entry point,” begin turning at the “apex,” and pick up speed as you straighten out the vehicle at the “exit point.” Following the indicated racing line, as opposed to the geometric line of a curve, allows the vehicle to shift its balance smoothly – important for larger pickups and SUVs.
