It's important to
keep cargo under control while you're driving.

CB radio could be your best friend. You never know when you'll need to radio for help, and off-road adventures commonly take you to areas beyond a cell phone's reach. Plus, when 4-wheeling, drivers typically converse among themselves regarding the terrain or make recommendations for drivers approaching tricky areas of the trail.
