Honda entered into the SUV market in 1993 with the debut of their mid-size sport-ute, the Passport (which was replaced by the Pilot in 2003). In 1997, Honda introduced the CR-V compact SUV. Honda's Odyssey minivan debuted in 1995.

Odyssey
The Honda Odyssey was introduced in 1995. The original Odyssey was built on an Accord platform, while the second-generation minivan sits atop its own platform.

Pilot
The original Honda midsize SUV was built in 1993 and was called the Passport. The Pilot debuted in 2003 and is based on the Odyssey minivan platform.
