How to Install a Seal Beam Headlamp
From your 4-wheel drive/SUVs Guide

Replacing a seal beam head lamp isn't as hard as you would think.

Difficulty Level: Average    Time Required: 20 minutes

Here's How:
  1. Open the hood.
  2. Reach behind the seal beam that is burned out and unplug it.
  3. Remove the bezel or door as they call it if your rig has one. This is the chrome ring around the seal beam.
  4. You will now see another ring. This is the retaining ring. Take this off and the seal beam will come right out.
  5. Notice the lumps on the back of the seal beam. You will also see indentations in the bucket or shell. These will have to line up when you put the new seal beam in.
  6. Install in the reverse order.
