So when was the last time you checked your drive chain? I know it's not usually one of the top priorities for me when I'm getting the quad ready to hit the dunes.
That's a bad thing because the dunes are filled with, well, sand. And sand is like sand-paper when it's in between moving parts like a chain and sprocket.
But it's not just sand, dirt or mud that can wreak havoc on your drive chain, the stress it gets can cause it to stretch over time. If it gets wet it can rust and links can stick and squeak.
