
If you ride ATVs in sand you know how much different it is than riding in dirt or any other terrain.
When you ride on sand it's a lot like being on water. The sand moves out from under your tires and you tend to skip across the top when you're at speed.
Low air pressure is important to good handling while you're in the sand. That's just the opposite of what you'd expect in harder dirt or pavement where more air pressure gives you better traction.
