If you are planning to teach your children to ride an All Terrain Vehicle, it is best to start them riding ATVs early. Get them started on one of those little electric quads that goes. real. slow.

Those toy ATVs are not really an "All Terrain" vehicle, and I can tell you from experience that a child does not need to know how to walk to be able to ride this type of vehicle accurately.

Riding a toy ATV teaches children several things, including how to steer and how to make it go and stop. Those are the absolute basics that you and I don't think about, but it builds confidence and familiarity in a very controlled environment for young children.

This is also a great time to teach them about ATV safety. Knowing how to ride safely means knowing you have to wear safety gear.
